The ARK Flat proSpoonT was specially designed by feeding therapist Debbie Lowsky, MS, CCC-SLP. It's similar to the original proSpoonT, but with a very thin spoon bowl - perfect for individuals who have limited lip control and/or difficulty removing food from the spoon. The Flat proSpoon is available in two different versions - smooth or textured. The textured version has ribbed lines inside the spoon bowl and gentle bumps on the back, providing tactile input to the upper lip, lower lip, and tongue at the same time. Use it to introduce texture to pur ed foods like yogurt, applesauce, stage 1 baby foods, etc. Specifications: Made in USA and medical-grade. Crafted in our own factory in Columbia, SC for quality and safety assurance. Measures about 5.3" long. The spoon bowl specifically measures about 1.3 x .8" (LxW). Includes 1 Flat proSpoonT. Handwash or top-rack dishwasher-safe. Caution: Not a toy. This therapeutic tool is to be used by a therapist or caregiver and directly supervised at all times. *May be HSA / FSA eligible.
