The ARK Baby Tetra-Bite is designed to help parents and therapists assist babies in the early stages of oral development. Use it to encourage sensory exploration and biting and chewing skills. The Baby Tetra-Bite has 4 different "arms" - each with a different texture for lots of varied sensory input. The two cylindrical arms have ribs: one with horizontal ribs that wrap around the extension, and one with long ribs that run the length of the extension. The two rectangular arms have bumps: one with mild round bumps, and one with zigzag bumps that provide more input. Please note: the Baby Tetra-Bite is not for independent use. Please directly supervise at all times; Like all ARK baby chews, it's available in 2 color-coded firmness levels to suit all chewing needs: Soft Soft and chewy with a lot of "give" and flexibility; a go-to level that's gentle on the gums Firm Firmer yet still chewy and pliable; provides more resistance to the jaw The Baby Tetra-Bite has sensory fun in every bite - an ideal outlet for early oral exploration, teething babies, and sensory seeking toddlers. Specifications: Made from medical-grade elastomer. Crafted in our own factory in Columbia, SC for quality and safety assurance. 4.5" across. Each extension measures about .75" long and about .4" thick. Each chew tool sold separately. Handwash or top-rack dishwasher-safe. Caution: For ages 5 months +. Direct supervision required.
