Product Details
Can you hear the sweet sound of sensory exploration? The ARK Baby Guitar is designed to help parents and therapists assist babies in the early stages of oral development. Use it to encourage sensory exploration and biting and chewing skills. Simply place the loop in between the front of the baby's mouth, or the stem in between the molar area, and guide the jaw up and down to close. This oral motor activity can help strengthen the mouth muscles and prepare them for speech and feeding skills later on. The bumps and ridges on the stem resemble the strings/knobs of a real guitar, while also providing extra sensory input. Like all ARK baby chews, it's available in 2 color-coded firmness levels to suit all chewing needs: Soft Soft and chewy with a lot of "give" and flexibility; a go-to level that's gentle on the gums Firm Firmer yet still chewy and pliable; provides more resistance to the jaw The Baby Guitar has sensory fun in every bite - an ideal outlet for early oral exploration, teething babies, and sensory seeking toddlers. Specifications: Made from medical-grade elastomer. Crafted in our own factory in Columbia, SC for quality and safety assurance. 4.7" tall, 3" wide, and .4" thick. The stem is about .75" long.
